Dance Elite really is a Family Affair! Mother and daughter team, Penny Solomon and Marley Whitmer, are the owners and operators of Dance Elite. Mother Penny Solomon acts as the business and operations manager while daughter Marley Whitmer is the artistic director and instructor for many of the advanced ballet, jazz, contemporary, and acro classes and coaches Dance Elite’s amazing Competition Teams!
A dance and theater enthusiast since early childhood, Penny Solomon had frequently considered opening a dance studio. But it wasn’t until her daughter, Marley Whitmer, offered to take on the artistic direction of a studio that the idea came to fruition. “We’re so excited to be taking on this project. We share a serious passion for dance! It’s great to get to do what you love every day, with the people you love.”
