During certain seasons, these two classes may be combined.
Lyrical/Contemporary 1 (ages 10+)
This class is for young dancers who love the beauty and precision of Ballet and the expressive, emotion of lyrical and contemporary dance. Students must be concurrently enrolled in Ballet to take this class. This class does participate in the recital at the end of the year.
Lyrical/Contemporary 2
This class is for the serious dancer who is talented in Ballet and/or Jazz and wants to explore an expressive, emotive combination of the two styles. Lyrical and Contemporary dance utilize Ballet technique while incorporating floor-work, emotive abilities, and stylized movement. Students must have 2+ years of previous Ballet training and be concurrently enrolled in Ballet to be eligible for this class. Permission of the instructor is required to register. This class does participate in the recital at the end of the year.
Lyrical/Contemporary 3
This is an advanced class for dancers possessing superior Ballet technique and several years of Lyrical/Contemporary training. Concurrent enrollment in Ballet and the permission of the instructor is required. This class does participate in the recital at the end of the year.
